Beaver Reservoir is one of my standard trailheads in the winter, but this was my first visit in the summer. It still wasn't very crowded (3 other cars at ~8am). I took a slightly contrived path for my descent off the divide via the East Ridge of Sawtooth Mt. This is optional. Avoiding this, the entire hike is straightforward hiking with no technical sections. The length is a bit long for a "normal" dayhike (~17 mi) but the elevation gain is fairly reasonable (+/- 4400').
The view from Algonquin did not disappoint.
It was nice to see the LIGANN ridge from a different perspective. The photo below shows the same ridge as above but looking north from North Arapaho Peak (from 2018).
