Spruce Gulch/Fairview Peak (Lefthand Canyon, Colorado)

Pt 7900', a midpoint on my preferred route to Fairview Peak.

This is one the only times I've visited Fairview peak when it was green.  This time I'd follow Spruce Gulch in the first half before rejoining my standard route.  On the descent from Fairview peak I explored some rocky slopes that reminded me a bit of the Lost Creek Wilderness.

My signature in Fairview Peak summit register from my previous hike in March. I'm in there a lot. Also, I have no idea what the "direct route" is that the next person was referencing.

I think this must be some sort of ropes course from the Cal-Wood Education Center.

I think this is part of a mountain biking joke. The blue paint says "David Lee Roth". There was another guitar with something about AC/DC I think?
