A bit late getting this one posted. I had another go at my original Flatirons/Walker Ranch/Eldorado Canyon Marathon. Because of snow I still couldn't do the variant I'd planned but this one is fun too. Compared to my original route, this one adds 1000 ft. of vertical gain and about 5 miles for a total of 24.5 miles/5950'. The bushwhacking is much easier than the original but was still fun to follow creek to the Walker Ranch Loop.
I'd originally planned on descending the ridge off of South Boulder Peak. Given the snow I skipped it. It looks like it'd be fun later in the summer.

"Scar Top Mountain" almost looks like a volcanic core BUT the type of rock, which appears to be either granite or sandstone, is completely wrong.
